Writing this can be challenging but it must be said. The server that I chose because of the great reviews may not be all that it's cracked up to be. Unfortunately, and fortunately, great lessons were learned. For example, the differences between deploying on servers can be great. A website that perfectly deploys to one server may not deploy on another. After too much time I have to move on from using Site ground for playing around with quick deploys. Why, for example, can I easily deploy on Netlify for free without hassle? Why do so many bundlers like Vite deploy directly to platforms such as this? I don't know because I'm newer to the field. Is it because of the fanbase making code or are certain companies that much more on the ball, or both?

Either way, this review was really coming down to mentioning one thing. It's time for me to break from working with servers and eCommerce and focus on API's. I have a feeling with advanced ai around the corner that coders may no longer be needed. Engineers, however, will be in higher demand than ever. Engineer generalists may even have a golden spot in such a world. I plan to write more about generalists versus specialists in our new world in an upcoming post.

Update:

I have worked with SiteGround quite a bit more as I started to understand its own uniqueness as it doesn't use c-panel. It still isn't perfect and for reasons of development, I think it's still better to test on a more stable platform so you can focus on what is and isn't working in code if you plan on working within the server.
